El arte del vino - Gaudifond

Art and wine: a very special edition

Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Goya, Van Gogh, Velázquez, Renoir, and Titian are just some of the great artists who have reflected their fascination with wine in their works. This relationship between art and wine dates back more than 4,600 years, with the first representations in the burial chambers of the Egyptian pyramids, and continues throughout the history of art in Greco-Roman culture, the Middle Ages, and the great European painting schools.

Wine has always been a symbol of celebration, spirituality, pleasure, and daily life, becoming a recurring motif for artists of all eras. This connection between the sensory and the artistic is the basis of this proposal.

To honor this millenary tradition, Gaudifond presents a special limited-edition collaboration: Borsao Colección wine, featuring a monumental work from our collection belonging to Eduard Alcoy's Demons series. A piece that unites the symbolic character of art with the expressive force of wine.

Borsao Colección x Gaudifond Arte
Bodegas Borsao is one of the leading names in the Campo de Borja Denomination of Origin (Zaragoza), internationally recognized for the quality of its Garnacha wines, the most widely planted red grape variety in the world and native to Aragon. Founded in 1958, the winery currently exports to over 50 countries, works with more than 375 winegrowers, and manages approximately 1,500 hectares of vineyards on the slopes of the Moncayo mountain range.

This collaboration celebrates the encounter between two worlds that share a common essence: creation, territory, and emotion.
