La Femme | Works by Glauco Capozzoli

Glauco Capozzoli (Montevideo, 1929–2003) was a versatile printmaker, painter, and creator. Trained at the National School of Fine Arts, he developed a technical mastery from an early age, which led him from wood and bronze engraving to painting. He participated in numerous international biennials and exhibited extensively before settling in Spain, where he consolidated a body of work centered on the human figure. His stylized and luminous female iconography exudes a Renaissance air, filtered through transparencies and an almost musical refinement.

In La Femme, Capozzoli presents the timeless muse: women suspended between desire, memory, and enigma, whose serene beauty sustains the lyrical dimension of the project.
