Baldomero Galofre (Reus, 1849 – Barcelona, 1902) was a key Spanish painter and illustrator of 19th-century Catalan costumbrismo. A disciple of Ramón Martí Alsina, he continued his training at the Spanish Academy in Rome, where he spent over a decade developing landscapes and seascapes of great luminosity.

Specializing in seascapes, coastal landscapes, and genre scenes inspired by Mediterranean life, his work is notable for its luminous atmosphere, narrative detail, and the influence of Mariano Fortuny. He exhibited at important European competitions and worked as an illustrator for publications of the time, consolidating his artistic recognition.
