Cristina Alonso ┃ Impressionist Work

Cristina Alonso Llagostera (Zaragoza, 1947–1996) developed a solid artistic career marked by an early creative vocation and rigorous training in Fine Arts. She began her self-taught artistic training as a painter in childhood and later trained in Alejandro Cañada's studio before entering the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Jorge in Barcelona, where she graduated as a Drawing Teacher. Her artistic evolution, enriched by doctoral studies at the University of Barcelona, resulted in a body of work that combines sensitivity, technical mastery, and a deep reflection on visual language. Today, her legacy constitutes a valuable contribution to the Aragonese art scene of the second half of the 20th century.
