Collection: Enric Pascó ┃ Abstract Work
The artist Enric Pascó, great-nephew of Joan Miró , developed a deeply personal abstract body of work characterized by dynamic compositions and an intense use of color. From a young age, he was exposed to Miró's creative world, visiting his studio on numerous occasions during his childhood.
His paintings, generally large-format, explore imaginary architectures and fantastical cities that seem to emerge from mythological landscapes or underwater spaces. His vibrant brushstrokes and energetic use of color transform his compositions into dynamic visual scenes.
With more than fifty exhibitions and a presence in private collections, museums and public spaces, including exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Pascó has established himself as a leading voice within contemporary abstraction.

Biography
Joan Miró 's great-nephew, Enric Pascó was born in Barcelona in 1958. He visited his great-uncle numerous times during his childhood and later lived in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany, where he began his artistic career. Pascó eventually returned to Barcelona, set up his studio, and enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts, where he earned his degree.
After various processes, Enric Pascó established a trajectory whose beginning could be traced back to Expressionism, driven by the intensity of passions, as well as psychological and social factors. In 1991, he began developing his electroplating technique, working instinctively with a can of black paint, some cardboard, and vigorous strokes of white wash. In his distinctive abstract paintings, vibrant in line and color, and imbued with powerful meaning, one visualizes impossible architectures of imaginary cities, generally submerged, filled with mythological visions, bygone eras, and a wide variety of buildings and objects, such as blast furnaces, submarines,
skyscrapers, water clocks, swamps, reservoirs, spaceships or
shipyards. In 1995 Enric Pascó settled in A Coruña,
where he continues to work and research his pictorial idea
