Collection: Maurice Estève ┃ Surrealist Lithography

A participant in the 1954 Venice Biennale, the French artist Maurice Estève produced a wide-ranging body of work encompassing painting, collage, textile design, stained glass, and murals. Influenced by Cézanne and Matisse, Estève belonged to the core group of artists who spearheaded the School of Paris, and his creations, now held in museums such as the Tate and the Pompidou, established a new pictorial language.
