Collection: Ramón Lopez Morelló ┃ 20th Century Spanish Painting

Ramón López Morelló (Úbeda, Jaén, 1903) was a prolific Spanish painter with a solid international background. He trained in France and, at just sixteen years old, worked as a draftsman for Sergei Diaghilev's company, founder of the Ballets Russes, an experience that deeply marked his artistic sensibility.

His painting, romantic in nature, clear and with esoteric nuances, combines refined technique with a poetic vision that transcends the everyday. Throughout his career, he held more than thirty exhibitions in Spain and Latin America, as well as important mural projects in churches, libraries, basilicas, and universities.

Today, his work is appreciated by collectors for its unique pictorial language, capable of uniting tradition and modernity in compositions full of symbolism and expressive force.
