Nosaltres i les llances is part of the series Pinteu Pintura, in which Antoni Miró revisits images, episodes, and references from art history to generate new interpretations from a contemporary perspective. In this work, the historical scene is reinterpreted through a composition that confronts power, memory, and identity, incorporating symbolic elements that alter the original perception of the image. Far from a simple evocation of the past, Miró proposes a critical reflection on historical narratives, mechanisms of representation, and their relevance in current society.
