Camil Bofill (Torelló, Barcelona, 1957) is a Catalan painter and sculptor who completed his studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona. From a young age, he received training in drawing and sculpture from the sculptor Rosa Martínez Brau, which strengthened his mastery of space and form in his work.
In 1981, he undertook one of his most notable projects in the religious sphere, creating the altarpiece for the main altar of the church of Santa María de Borredà. His work combines painting and sculpture, and has been exhibited in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Girona, Bilbao, and Braga (Portugal).
It is characterized by an aesthetic that balances gesture and structure, incorporating symbolic elements and a refined use of volume and form.
