Josep Niebla (Tetouan, Morocco, 1945) is a Spanish-Moroccan artist renowned for his extensive career in abstract and material painting. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Tetouan and Seville, he has developed his own language where matter, color, and texture engage in a dialogue with memory, identity, and the human condition.

Violet Light is a work of great poetic subtlety in which the artist explores the relationship between color, silence, and space.
